Early voting for May primary starts Monday in Nebraska

About 23,000 Nebraskans will receive a ballot in their mailboxes after the vote-by-mail option starts Monday.
And more than 1.1 million others have registered to vote — 30,000 more than were registered at the time of the 2016 primary election.
"Your ballot is waiting for you," said Secretary of State John Gale. "Go cast it." For those who are not yet registered to vote but want to have a say in their party's nominees for governor, U.S. representative or a host of other offices — there's still time.
Here are some voting dates to know ahead of the May 15 primary:
» Monday is also the first day to pick up a ballot at county election commissions across the state.
