PILGER – Authorities say a Northeast Nebraska man is lucky to escape injury after their car crashed into a creek.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Highway 15 about six miles south of Pilger Tuesday morning.
Authorities say the driver, who was from Wisner, left the highway for unknown reasons and drove more than 300 yards in a field before coming to rest into a flowing creekbed.
The driver was treated at the scene by Pilger rescue crews.
