Big Boy Cruisin’ Night adds two car shows as event grows

SIDNEY, NE — A staple Summer event in Sidney is getting bigger in 2021. 

The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country Cruisin’ Night will take place Friday, June 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cruisers in street legal vehicles will enjoy a ride down Highway 30 through historic downtown Sidney while Sidney’s hometown radio station provides the old-time rock-n-roll tunes on 98.7 FM, 95.7 FM and 1340 AM. People are encouraged to listen to learn how to win prizes and get details on other giveways.

But that’s not all. 

New in 2021 is the Lincoln Highway Cruisers Show-and-Shine Car Show, and the Cruisin’ Class Car Club Car Club Car Show.

The Show-and-Shine Car Show will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Sidney’s Hickory Street Square. All are welcome and there is no entry fee for those wanting to show off their ride. To register for the car show email Loren Hoekema at [email protected]

The Cruisin’ Class Car Club Car Club Car Show starts at 5:30 at the Pedalers Corner parking lot in downtown Sidney. The event will also feature cornhole, sno-cones and cotton candy. Registration is also free.

Flood Communications will announce details about their summer giveaway promotion and what people can win this summer on 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country. The grand prize will be on display during the cruisin’ night event.
