Bacon Hot From the Arc, Scores 20 in Loss to Concordia JV

COLUMBUS - The Raiders hosted Concordia JV on Saturday, falling by only 7 points in a tough matchup. The Raiders found themselves behind early, but a slow comeback wasn't enough for Central to snag a win. The Raiders trailed by 5 points in the first quarter, getting outscored by 4 in the 2nd, and 2 in the 3rd. CCC made a push in the final quarter, outscoring Concordia 18-14, but it wouldn't be enough as Central would fall 81-88. Lexie Bacon had a strong performance on the evening, scoring 20 with six three pointers, in the matchup. Jada Warner led the team with 8 rebounds and 7 assists, while her and Maddy Wolfe each scored 17 points.  Payton Blanke scored 10 in the match. The Raiders drop to 1-1 on the year, but will next host Iowa Central Community College at home Monday night at 7 p.m.
