CHADRON, Neb. — Authorities say a Chadron man who was found dead at his workplace died of natural causes.
Dawes County Attorney and Coroner Vince Haug said 63-year-old Paul Howard was found unresponsive after stepping outside to move a vehicle at approximately 4:00 p.m.
After he did not return, a co-worker went outside to check on Howard and found him unresponsive. Emergency responders on the scene were unable to revive Howard.
Haug said an investigation was conducted at the scene, which included witness interviews and consultations with medical and emergency personnel. After completing the investigation, Haug said it was determined Howard had died of natural causes.
