Agricultural Economic and Technology Summit

LINCOLN - No one knows how challenges and opportunities in agriculture change daily, more than the Nebraska Farm Bureau. So, for the second time in as many years, the NFB will host an event that discusses agriculture’s economic outlook, technology, trade, cattle markets, and more. The Nebraska Farmers Bureau says that the two-day summit provides a great opportunity to learn what's going on now and in the future. The summit covers topics that are important to anyone in the agriculture industry, not just farmers and ranchers. Not only will attendees hear from national experts, but it will also provide them space to network amongst themselves. The Nebraska Farm Bureau currently has 61,000 family members. According to NFB Senior Economist Jay Rempe the mission of the NFB is to be the voice of agriculture in Nebraska, which in turn explains the reasoning behind the 2nd Annual Agriculture Economic and Technology Summit. The summit takes place July 17-18 at the Kearney Holiday Inn. For more information on this event of the Nebraska Farm Bureau, visit www.nefb.org
