A 24-year-old Omaha man died in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday just east of 144th and U Streets.
Jacob S. Folda was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an Omaha police statement. Investigators determined that Folda was eastbound on Millard Avenue near U Street in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado about 1:45 a.m.
The pickup truck left the road and rolled down an embankment. Folda, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
The crash is under investigation at this time. An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.
