GRAND ISLAND – St. Cecilia earned a gritty win over a rival on Thursday night.
The Hawkettes travels to Grand Island Central Catholic and, after trailing by five to start the fourth quarter, defeated the Lady Crusaders 42-39.
Both teams now prepare for subdistrict play on Feb. 13.
