PERU, Neb. – The Peru State Foundation is hosting a basketball alumni event this coming Saturday, Jan. 13, when the Bobcat women and men’s teams host Mount Mercy (Iowa) in the Al Wheeler Activity Center.
All former Bobcat basketball players, coaches, and Bobcat Backers are invited to attend and are invited to the hospitality suite featuring complimentary appetizers throughout the games hosted by the Foundation.
The game time for the women’s game is noon – which is earlier than normal for a Saturday contest due to the travel time for Mount Mercy. The men’s game will begin at approximately 2 p.m.
First-year men’s head coach Bob Ludwig and interim women’s head coach Joan Albury are excited to have as many alumni as possible return to support their respective teams. Ludwig commented, “As a first-year head coach at Peru State, I look forward to connecting with those of you whom I have not had an opportunity to meet.”
