Joan Jane Sheets age 84 of Burwell formerly of Sargent, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at the Burwell Community Health Center in Burwell.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at 10:30 AM at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Sargent with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Sargent. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the family greeting friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church. A rosary service will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 PM at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Sargent EMT’s or the Sargent Volunteer Fire Department. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
