Rose Marie Drake age 90 of Sargent, NE passed away May 6, 2021 at her home in Sargent, NE.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Moulton Cemetery near Almeria, NE. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Rose Marie Drake was born January 17, 1931 in Milburn, NE to Earl and Ula (Holmes) Cochran. Rose attended Country School at Madison Square, and then graduating from Taylor High School in 1948. June of 1948 Rose married Clyde Alan Drake. The couple made there home in Sargent, NE.
Rose was a Cub Scout Leader for many years. Rose always had an extra plate at the dinner table, or bed for a Child in need, or a place to stay. Rose enjoyed sewing baby quilts and giving to anyone with a newborn. Rose was a very caring person, always willing to help anyone in need.
Rose is survived by her sons Mike (Wanda) Drake of Sargent, Scott (Kelly) Drake of Broken Bow, daughter Gayelynn Felker of Sargent, five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband Clyde, parents Earl and Ula Cochran, daughter Clydean, one brother, and one sister.
