Rex H. May, age 91, of Broken Bow, Ne. formerly of the Cliff Table Community west of Merna, Ne. died Friday, December 1, 2017, at the Brookstone View Care Home at Broken Bow, Ne.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Tim Peterson and Rev. Irv Jennings officiating. Burial will be in the Callaway Cemetery at 10 a.m. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Memorials may be offered to the CRU or the Evangelical Free Church.
Rex is survived by his wife Marvella May of Broken Bow, 3 sons Richard (Kathy) May of Minden, Ne., Leonard (Sue) May of Lexington, Ne., and Melvin (Beverly) May of Merna, Ne. 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Nellie May of Broken Bow. Rex was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Dale, Gerald, and 1 sister Maxine.
