Randy graduated from Loup City High School in 1969. He attended 1 year at Kearney State College before farming and ranching near the Basin Ditch south of Mason City, NE.

On December 4th, 1977 Randy was united in marriage to Susan Johnson. The couple had 4 boys and farmed. In 1988, the family moved North of Kearney, NE where Randy was employed at Eaton Corporation. Randy retired in 2010 and then began part time work for a neighboring farmer. Randy and Susan also worked together irrigating neighboring fields and putting up hay.

Randy loved fishing (only on the South Loup River), playing card games like “Pitch” with his kids, and playing “Garbage” with his grandkids. Most of all Randy LOVED Jesus, longing that all family, friends, and others would believe in the salvation of Christ’s burial and resurrection.

Randy is survived by his wife Susan (Johnson) King of Kearney; sons, Lynn (Joanna) King of Baltic, SD, Scott King of Kearney, NE, Todd (Natalie) King of Stromsburg, NE; his grandchildren Addison, Moriah, Thaddeus, Molly, and Titus.
