Phyllis M. Winter passed away in Elkhorn, NE on November 21, 2019.
Phyllis retired from Northwestern Bell in 1978 having worked for them all
over eastern Nebraska. Fremont and Grand Island were favorite towns and
she ended her career in Omaha. She and Virgil traveled frequently in his
small airplane, the Carolinas were a favorite destination as was a drive to
Estes Park, CO where she could sit by the river for hours on end.
Phyllis loved a good meal and a glass of red wine into her late 80s!
Sundays would find her rooting for her Green Bay Packers and every day
found her reading the newspaper from cover to cover.
She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter GB and a longtime member of
Presbyterian Church of the Cross.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew, and Maggie (Beals) Molley
and her husband, Virgil Winter.
Survived by her brother, Bernard Duane Molley (Joyce), nieces
Andrea (Andy) Borchers and Melinda Molley and great-nieces,
Annie, and Abbey Borchers, all of Denver, Colorado.
Memorial Service and burial will be Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10:30
a.m. at the Broken Bow Cemetery in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor
Becky Dobitsch officiating. Govier Brothers Mortuary are assisting the
