Jay Ritchie age 42 of Omaha, formerly of Ansley died Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Quality Living Inc. in Omaha.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10:30 AM in Govier Brothers Mortuary at Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Mel Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in the Waldheim Cemetery between Callaway and Arnold. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family greeting friends 6 PM to 7 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Quality Living Center Inc. in Omaha.
Jay was born on May 14, 1975, at Broken Bow to Marvin and Debra (Wonch) Ritchie.
Jay is survived by his parents; Marvin and Debra Ritchie of Arnold, his grandmothers; Maxine Wonch of Callaway and Wanda Ritchie of Broken Bow, he is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Don Wonch, and Charles “Doc” Ritchie, and uncles Roger Ritchie, Gary Ritchie and Ross Roberts.
