Funeral Services for Jacque Mogensen, age 66

Jacque Lynn Mogensen age 66 of Broken Bow passed away November 8, 2021, at her home in Broken Bow.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Our Saviour Lutheran Church with Pastor Kathy Salts PMA officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Our Saviour Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Jacque was born in North Platte, NE to Jack and Gertrude (Eggers) Mogensen on May 5, 1955. She moved to Broken Bow with her family on July 1, 1969, and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1973. She then went on to Mid-Plains Community College.

Thru the years she worked at Sandhills Nursing home, Broken Bow State Bank, and 30 plus year a Melham Medical Center as a CNA, receptionist, and ward clerk. She really enjoyed and appreciated all her co-workers for their friendship and care they’ve given her.

She belonged to Our Saviour Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cross stitch. Jacque made Jesus signs and wedding keepsakes for all of her family. She made denim quilts for her nieces and nephews for their graduation, and she had just started bowling again. She enjoyed spending time with her whole family.

Jacque is survived by her Mother Gertrude Mogensen, Sister Patty (Wade) Preston, brother-in-law John Hoffman, sister-in-law Theresa Widfelt, nieces, and nephews: Amanda (Chad) Smith, Jeremy (Alisa) Hoffman, Adam (Wendi) Glendy, David (Tara) Glendy, Leah (Jeremy) Jech, Steve (Angie) Mogensen, Jack (Jill) Mogensen, Ryan Mogensen, Jeff (Michelle) Preston, Jessie Preston, and Rachelle (Garrett) Hyde, 21 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews.

Jacque was preceded in death by her Dad Jack, Sister Connie, Brother George, infant nephew Peter, and all of her Grandparents.
