Funeral services for Elsie Hazen age 83 of Butte, NE formerly of Brownlee, Ne, died October 30, 2017, at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Thedford with Pastor Tim Hazen officiating. Burial will be in the Brownlee Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday before service time at the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Thedford, NE.
Elsie was born on April 24, 1934, at Thedford, NE to Myrl and Sula Fern (Allphin) Howell. She was married to James H. Hazen on December 23, 1950.
Survivors include her husband James of Stuart, NE, sons; Steven (Debbie) Hazen of Scotts Valley, CA, David (Carol) Hazen of Rapid City, SD, Thomas (Sandy) Hazen of Spring Hill, KS, Timothy (Linda) Hazen of Butte, NE, daughters; Shirley (Jerry) Saueressig of Butte, NE, Nancy (Stephen) Byrd of Brownlee, NE, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, a brother Thomas (Janet) Howell of Valentine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers and a great-granddaughter Eisley Winter.
