Dorothy E. Porter, age 90, of Broken Bow, Ne. died Friday December 13, 2019 at Brookstone View in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 17, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, Ne. with Reverend Matt Fowler officiating. Visitation will be Monday December 16 at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, with family greeting friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow.
Dorothy was born on December 12, 1929 at Lexington, NE to Calvin and Garnet (McDonald) Perry. She married William “Bill” Porter on May 18, 1954.
Survivors include 4 sons Dennis (Germa) Porter of Lancaster, Ca., Mike Porter of Sunland, Ca., Craig (Deralyn) Porter of Santa Clarita, Ca., and Mark (Carole) Porter of Broken Bow, Ne. 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 sister Donna Upthagrove of Bertrand, Ne.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, and 4 sisters.
