Dianna Rose Esch, age 74, of Merna, Nebraska died Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Broken Bow Care and Rehabilitation Center in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Catholic Cemetery west of Merna, Ne. A Rosary service will be held February 15 at 7 p.m. at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Merna Rescue Unit. Govier Brothers is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dianna was born on March 11, 1943, near Mera to John A. and Lorena C. (Grundmeyer) Esch. She graduated from Merna High School in 1962.
Dianna is survived by two sisters Mary (Paul) Holland of Broken Bow, Kathy Duryea of Kearney and a brother John T. (Violet) Esch of Merna, and nieces and nephews. Dianna was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Jeff Esch.
