Dakota R. Harvey, 21 of Kearney, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm on July 19, 2018, at the Salvation Army in Kearney. The funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Elm Creek Cemetery, followed by a lunch back at the Salvation Army.
Dakota was born August 2, 1996, in Kearney, Nebraska to Brian Ebmeier and Freda (Patient) Myers. He attended school at Kearney High School and later Sargent High School. Dakota wrestled during his Jr. High and High School years, and placed 5th at State in 2014. He worked at Walrus Farm in Arcadia. Dakota enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing any kind of sport.
Survivors include his father Brian Ebmeier of Kearney, the love of his life McKenzie Ryman, daughter MaeAnne Kay Harvey, and son Jamesyn Ray Harvey, all of Ord; Grandmother Peg Ebmeier of Kearney; Siblings Tyler (Hannah) Myers of Taylor, April (Waylon) Beacon of Valentine, William (Shelia) Harvey of Cozad, Samantha Harvey of Kearney, Marcus (Cassie) Myers of Elm Creek, Cain, Mathew, and Michael Ebmeier all of Kearney, Bailey Myers of Elm Creek, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family that he loved very much.
Dakota was preceded in death by his mother Freda Mae Myers, sister Christina Myers, and grandfather Kenneth Ebmeier.
Memorials are suggested to his father Brian Ebmeier of Kearney and Dakota’s two children MaeAnna and Jamesyn Harvey of Ord. Services are entrusted to Iverson Memorial Chapel of Broken Bow.
