Alice Ann Ryan age 65 of Ansley, NE wife of Thomas Ryan passed away Monday, at the Kearney Regional Hospital in Kearney, NE.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:30 am at the St Joseph Catholic Church in Broken Bow, NE with Father Jim Hunt officiating, with Rosary being held at 8:30 am at the St Joseph Catholic Church. The Memorial Service will be livestreamed at www.govierbrothers.com. Burial will be in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Broken Bow. Masks will be required. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. An online guest book may be signed for words of encouragement or remembrance at www.govierbrothers.com. Alice was born May 2, 1955 to Robert and Gail (Davis) Patterson in Kearney, Nebraska. She attended Ansley Public High School and was later employed at Becton Dickinson for 28 years.
No one who met Alice could forget her infectious laugh. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma who continuously showed her love to her family and friends., Alice’s passions included her family, crocheting, baking, cooking, painting, and gardening. Alice was her children’s and grandchildren’s greatest supporter at all their events. In recent years she could be seen in Kearney at wrestling meets, in Colorado at basketball and soccer games, and at Doane University watching her granddaughter play volleyball. When it came to gatherings of any kind, whether it be family or friends, Alice was known to bring “the best” pies. She also spent her time crocheting, making blankets for kids and grandkids.
Alice is survived by her husband Thomas Ryan of Ansley, daughter Molly (Ben) Piasecki of Castle Rock, CO, and their children Genna, Alizah, and Nash, son John Ryan of Kearney, son Clint (Alisa) Ryan of Kearny, and their children Parker, Mason, Griffin, and Conner, and daughter Ali Ryan of Castle Rock, CO, and her sons Carter and Macs, two Brothers Irv (Linda) Patterson of Pocatello, ID, Sam (Nancy) Patterson of Payette, ID, three sisters Pam Patterson of Ansley, Connie (Steve) Achord of Burbank, WA, and Kathy Egbert of Soda Springs, ID.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Gail (Davis) Patterson.
