Donna Rea (Davis) Countee age 65, of Sargent, NE passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, NE.
Funeral services for Donna will be Monday, August 13, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Event Center in Taylor, NE with Pastor Marty Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at the Madison Square Cemetery in Taylor, NE. Memorials will be designated to the Sargent EMT’s or the Community Memorial Health of Burwell, NE. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, with family greeting 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE, and on Monday August 13, 2018, 9:00 to service time at the Taylor Event Center in Taylor, NE. Donna Rea Davis Countee was born September 11, 1952, in Burwell, Nebraska to Donald and Margaret (Dilsaver) Davis. Donna attended Elementary School in Almeria. Donna graduated from Loup County High School in 1970. Following High School, Donna attended Beauty School in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Donna married Michael Spencer in 1972. To this union, they had four children. Stacy, Phoenix, AZ., Michaela Keith, (Brandin) of Taylor, Brett (Johanna) Taylor, Ashley Clay (Michael) Broken Bow. She has six grandchildren, Monica, Shelby, Garrett, Lena, Brady, and Sebastian. Great Grand-Daughter Annabelle.
Donna later married Ronald Countee on September 6, 2011.
Donna was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and sports fan in general. She loved attending her children’s events throughout school. She spent countless hours in her garden tending her flowers and adding additional plants throughout different growing seasons. She loved baking and trying new recipes. Donna and Ron enjoyed attending the College World Series in Omaha, watching Husker Volleyball, traveling together, and visiting with other family and friends.
Donna passed away peacefully on August 9, 2018, at Burwell Community Memorial Health Center
Donna leaves behind husband Ronald Countee. Children, Stacy Spencer (Phoenix AZ), Michaela Keith (Brandin) Taylor, Brett (Johanna) Taylor, Ashley Clay (Michael) Broken Bow. Mother, Margaret (Dilsaver) Davis, Brother, Rex (Doris) North Platte. Grandchildren, Great Grandchild, Nieces, and Nephews.
Donna is preceded in death by her father Donald Davis.
The family asks that Memorials be made to the Taylor VFW, Sargent EMT, or Burwell Community Memorial.
