Burwell will host its annual track and field invitational Thursday. The meet was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved to Thursday because of adverse weather conditions forecast for Friday. The meet will begin at 9AM with field events. The running events are scheduled to begin at 11:30. Joining Burwell for the meet will be several area teams including South Loup, Anselmo-Merna, Twin Loup, Sandhills/Thedford, Ansley-Litchfield, and Arcadia-Loup City. Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be on hand to update results through the day. The reports will air on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
The Broken Bow girls and boys track teams will travel to Minden Thursday to participate in the Marsh Beck Minden track and field invite. It was originally scheduled for Friday but was moved to Thursday because inclement weather forecast for Friday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm
