The Broken Bow American Legion baseball teams traveled to Lexington Thursday night for a Juniors and Seniors doubleheader with Broken Bow coming away with a sweep.

After being no-hit in their last performance against Ogallala, the Bow Juniors were red hot at the plate against Lex. The Broken Bow Seniors completed the sweep by holding off a late Lexington rally to collect their third win of the season. Bow scored a run in the first then scored 5 in the fourth to build a 6-0 lead. Lex would fight back though scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the fourth and would score 3 more in the bottom of the 7th but were not able to get the tying run across as Bow held on for the one run victory. Blake Denson had a big night at the plate going 3 for 4 with 3 doubles. Sam Peterson was the leading RBI guy for Bow going 2 for 4 and driving in 3.
