The Broken Bow Spirit (White) softball team edged Kearney Wednesday night 6-5. It was a thrilling back and forth affair with each team scoring two runs in the first inning. Bow would score two more in the 2nd inning to take the lead only to see Kearney respond with 3 runs in the third to retake the lead. Bow would answer though with 2 runs in the bottom of the third and hang on for the 1 run victory. The Spirit (White) are now 8-5 on the season.
