Taylor, Dockweiler, and Miller Named to LJS All State Teams

Marlee Taylor of Sandhills/Thedford, Kalen Dockweiler of South Loup, and Seth Miller of Anselmo-Merna were named to the 2018-19 Lincoln Journal Star All State basketball teams.

Taylor was named to the Class D2 girls All State first team. Taylor averaged 18.1 points and 13.3 rebounds per game for the Knights this season. She is joined on the first team by Allison Weidner (Humphrey St. Francis), Regan Alfs (BDS), Taylor Peter (CWC), and Katelyn Heine (Wynot)

Dockweiler was named to the Class C2 boys All State second team. Dockweiler averaged 16.4 points per game this season for the South Loup Bobcats. He is joined on the second team by Garrett Nuss (Sutton), Gage Delimont (Ainsworth), Solomon Peitz (Wakefield), and Matthew Becker (Hartington CC)

Miller was named to the Class D1 boys All State second team. Miller averaged 19.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game this season for the Coyotes. He is joined on the D1 second team by Peyton Dubbert (Deshler), Jason Sjuts (Humphrey LHF), Morgan Wallace (Overton), and Blake Miller (Lourdes CC)

Several players from the area received honorable mention and are listed in the weekend edition of the Lincoln Journal Star and on their website journalstar.com
