The Broken Bow Lady Indians collected their 27th win of the season and advanced to the finals of the C1-10 sub district tournament with a straight set win over Ainsworth Monday night 25-18, 25-14, 25-19. Kya Scott had 15 kills and Emma Schall had 10 to lead the Broken Bow attack. Kailyn Scott finished with 35 assists. Broken Bow will face O’Neill for the sub district final as the Lady Eagles defeated Ord 3 sets to 1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 25-18). The sub final is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 pm and will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.
Ansley/Litchfield and Anselmo-Merna each advanced to the final of the D1-10 sub district tournament. A/L defeated Sandhills Valley in straight sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-11) and Anselmo-Merna defeated Maxwell in straight sets (25-16, 25-13, 25-14). The D1-10 final between AM and A/L Tuesday will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com
South Loup (Callaway/Arnold) def. Sutherland, 25-10, 25-9, 25-13 (3-0) to advance to the finals of the C2-11 sub district. The Lady Bobcats will face Hi-Line Tuesday for the sub district title.
At the D2-10 sub district, Sandhills/Thedford def. Hyannis, 25-10, 20-25, 25-20, 25-19 (3-1) but then fell to Mullen in straight sets 25-11, 25-23, 25-20 (3-0). Mullen advances to Tuesday’s sub district final
Sumner-Eddyville-Miller def. Loomis, 25-16, 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 18-16 (3-2) to advance to the finals of the D2-8 sub district. The Lady Mustangs will face top seed Bertrand on Tuesday.
Twin Loup def. Stuart, 25-15, 25-13, 16-25, 25-21 (3-1) at the D2-6 sub district tournament in Bartlett. The Lady Wolves advance to the sub district final Tuesday where they will face the top seed Chambers Wheeler Central.
Arcadia/Loup City fell to Ravenna in the C2-9 sub district 25-15, 25-16, 25-9 (3-0). Ravenna then fell to top seed Fullerton 3 sets to 1 ( 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16). Fullerton will play Centura in the sub district final. Centura got past Burwell 3 sets to 2 winning 15-13 in the fifth.
