Strong 2nd Half Gives St. Cecilia Win Over Scotus

HASTINGS – The Hastings St. Cecilia boys opened the season with a win thanks to a strong second half.

The No. 3 Bluehawks hosted Scotus on Thursday night, but the Shamrocks came ready to play and took a 30-26 halftime lead. The second half was a different story however as Hastings St. Cecilia outscored the Shamrocks 13-2 in the third quarter and went on for a 53-40 victory.

Hastings St. Cecilia next takes on No 3 Bishop Neumann on Saturday while Scotus will host GACC on December 5th.
