State Wrestling Coverage on KBBN

The 2019 NSAA state wrestling championships begin tomorrow at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Classes A and D will take the mats first with 1st round matches beginning at 9:30am followed by the quarterfinals. Classes B and C will take the mats at 4pm with first round matches followed by the quarterfinals. Competition continues on Friday with 1st and 2nd round consolation matches at 9:30am for classes A & D followed by classes B & C at 12:30. The semifinals and 3rd round consolations will take place at 5pm Friday evening. The consolation semi-finals and 3rd and 5th place matches will take place Saturday beginning at 8:30am with the championship finals scheduled for 2pm Saturday afternoon.

Once again, Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will present live play by play match coverage of our area wrestlers from this year’s tournament. Broadcast coverage can be heard on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com during all three days of the tournament.
