South Loup will host Elm Creek and Anselmo-Merna tonight for a volleyball triangular at the Callaway high school gym. South Loup is putting together another great season. The Lady Bobcats are 9-2 on the year with their only losses coming at home to Class D1 state rated Pleasanton who is 12-1 and on the road at Class C1 Kearney Catholic. Among their opponents tonight will be Anselmo-Merna who has been equally impressive this season. The Lady Coyotes are 11-3 this season and were ranked #7 in Class D2 by the Omaha World Herald for the week of September 16. The two met earlier this season in the championship match of the 7 Valleys tournament with South Loup winning 2 sets to 1. Elm Creek rounds out the field and enters tonight’s action with 7-5 overall record. Today’s matches begin at 4pm with South Loup taking on Elm Creek followed by Anselmo-Merna vs Elm Creek and concluding with South Loup vs Anselmo-Merna.
