Stapleton hosted its boys golf invite Thursday. The meet was shortened to 9 holes because of the weather conditions. Koby Walker of Mullen was the individual champion with a low round of 39. Jace Leibhart of Anselmo-Merna placed 3rd with a 44. Max Svoboda of Mullen placed seventh with a 46. Placing 8th, 9th, and 10th with a 47 were Morgan McMeen and Blake Denson of Broken Bow and Brett Downing of Sandhills/Thedford. Hershey claimed the team championship.
