Sandhills Valley and South Loup Win MNAC Cross Country Team Titles

The MNAC cross country championships took place Tuesday at Arnold.  Sandhills Valley (Stapleton/McPherson County) won the boys team title and South Loup won the girls team championship.  Sandhills Valley placed five runners in the top ten of the boys competition led by Jared Trimble who placed third in a time of 18:52.  Trevor Kuncl of Mullen was the boys individual champion in a winning time of 17:32.  Logan Recoy of South Loup was the boys runner-up in a time of 18:49.

On the girls side, team champion South Loup placed four runners in the top ten led by Ella Cool who placed third in a time of 22:53.  Mullen took the top two spots with Peyton Paxton placing first in a time of 21:08 and Callie Coble of Mullen was runner-up in a time of 22:01
