Sandhills/Thedford will meet Maywood Hayes Center for the D2-5 girls basketball district championship tonight at Gothenburg. The Lady Knights advanced out of the D2-10 sub district with wins over McPherson County and Mullen. The winner of tonight’s game will automatically qualify for the girls state tournament which begins next Thursday in Lincoln. Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Tip off for the game is scheduled for 7pm with radio coverage beginning around 6:45.
