The coronavirus pandemic has forced the cancellation and postponement of pretty much all events that would include a public gathering. Among the many cancellations was a sporting event that has come to define the month of March, so much so that it has been referred to as “March Madness”. Sports fans nationwide have felt empty with the cancelling of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Every year, after the championship game had been played, the television coverage of the tournament would always conclude with their “One Shining Moment” music tribute.
To fill that void we at KCNI/KBBN put together our own shining moments as we salute our area athletes from this past winter sports season.
