OMAHA – The Nebraska School Activities Association is reminding wrestling fans about the new clear-bag policy at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, the site of this year’s state wrestling tournament Thursday through Saturday.
Clear plastic bags (measuring 12″ tall, 12″ long and 6″ wide), small or clutch-sized purses or wallets (not exceeding 4 1/2″ tall by 6 1/2″ long), and one-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags are all permitted in the arena.
Items not accepted include: large purses, bags, backpacks or fanny-packs. Arena staff members are not allowed to hold bags during the event.
The only exception is for bags with medical necessities after appropriate inspection.
