NSAA Releases High School Boys Basketball Subdistrict Pairings

The boys high school basketball subdistrict tournaments will begin next week around the state. The pairings for next week’s action were released by the Nebraska Schools Activities Association today.

Broken Bow is the #2 seed in the C1-10 subdistrict to be played at Central Valley high school in Greeley. The Indians will play Ord on Tuesday night (2/19) at 7:30 pm. All of the Broken Bow boys subdistrict games will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and on kcni1280.com

The D1-10 subdistrict will be played at Broken Bow high school. Sandhills/Thedford will play Twin Loup on Monday (2/18) at 7pm with the winner advancing to play the top seed Anselmo-Merna on Tuesday (2/19) at 6pm followed by the 2 seed Ansley/Litchfield taking on Burwell at 7:30. All games from the D1-10 subdistrict in Broken Bow will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com

The C2-10 subdistrict will take place at the Cope Coliseum at Kearney Catholic High School. Arcadia/Loup City is the #3 seed there and will play Doniphan-Trumbull Tuesday (2/19) at 7:30

South Loup is the top seed at the C2-11 subdistrict in Cozad. The Bobcats will play on Tuesday (2/19) against the winner of Perkins County and Sutherland.

Mullen is the top seed in the 4 team D2-10 subdistrict at North Platte St. Pat’s. The Broncos will play Tuesday (2/19) against Stapleton.

The D2-8 subdistrict will be played at Minden high school. SEM is the #3 seed there and will play Blue Hill Tuesday (2/19).

Gothenburg will play Hershey Monday (2/18) at the C1-11 subdistrict in Sutherland with the winner advancing to face the top seed Ogallala on Tuesday (2/19) followed by Cozad, the 3 seed, taking on Chase County.
