Nebraska High School Rodeo contestants made stops in Thedford and Stapleton over the weekend. Some of the area highlights from Saturday’s performance in Thedford included Ashlyn Jensen of Burwell placing first in the barrel racing in a time of 18.248. Zack Bradley of Brewster won the boys cutting on Saturday with a score of 72 and Cauy Pokorny was the steer wrestling champion in a winning time of 6.1 seconds. On Sunday in Stapleton, Evan Hewett took the steer wrestling title in a time of 5.23.
