Nebraska High School Rodeo Makes Stop in Broken Bow Last Weekend

The Nebraska High School Rodeo made its weekend stop in Broken Bow this past Saturday and Sunday. Here are some of the area highlights. On Saturday, Colt Hesseltine of Halsey won the Bareback competition with a 62 point ride. Cody Miller of Broken Bow won the boys cutting on Saturday with a 72, and Madison Mills of Eddyville was the pole bending champion on Saturday with a winning time of 21.018. Mills was also honored as the girls all around winner on Saturday. One of the area highlights on Sunday occurred when Cauy Pokorny of Stapleton posted the winning time in the steer wrestling at 4.81 seconds.
