Nebraska High School Rodeo contestants made a stop in Madison over the weekend for the “Northeast” Rodeo. While the results for Saturday’s performance still show pending, Sunday’s results have been released. The area highlight on Sunday came in the team roping event where Ashley Odenbach of Taylor teamed with Cole Dwyer of Burwell to post the winning time of 7.96. Other area highlights included Brody McAbee of Ansley placing 2nd in the saddle broncs with a 66 point ride just 1 point behind the winner and Madison Mills of Eddyville placed third in the pole bending with a time of 22.425.
