Nebraska High School Rodeo Fall Season is Underway

The Nebraska high school rodeo fall season began this past weekend with two rodeo performances at the Rock County Fairgrounds in Bassett.

Among the area highlights, Korbin Druery of Anselmo teamed with Remi Wells of Central City to win the team roping on Saturday with a winning time of 8.66 seconds.  Carson Cooksley of Elsmere won the steer wrestling Saturday in a time of 5.39 seconds and Gracyn Hicks of Burwell won the girls cutting on Saturday with a score of 73 points.

On Sunday, area highlights included Tate Johnston of Thedford winning the tie down roping with a time of 13.2 seconds.
