Nebraska High School Rodeo Fall Season Comes to an End

The Nebraska high school rodeo fall season came to its conclusion this past weekend with rodeos at Callaway and North Platte. Among the area highlights over the weekend, Cooper Bass of Brewster won the boys cutting with a winning score of 73 at Saturday’s performance in Callaway. Bass was also the boys all around champion Saturday. Along with winning the boys cutting, Bass placed 4th in the tie down roping and teamed with Tatum Olson of Bloomfield to finish 5th in the team roping.

On Sunday at North Platte, Anna Clark of Thedford won the barrel racing in a winning time of 17.875 seconds. Whitney Jennings of Seneca was first in the breakaway roping with a time of 2.72 seconds and also won the girls cutting with a score of 71. Dane Pokorny of Stapleton posted the winning time in the steer wrestling at 5.44 seconds.
