Myers Claims First Win at Dawson County Raceway
Allyn Myers claimed victory in the Hobby Stock feature Sunday night at Dawson County Raceway

The Dawson County Raceway saw a couple of new faces make it to victory lane Sunday night. Berwyn’s Allyn Myers picked his first win at Dawson County Raceway in the IMCA Hobby Stock feature. It was declared the race of the night as Myers battled Zach Olmstead, Caleb Hetrick and Broken Bow’s Luke Wassom throughout. In the end, it was Myers who took the checkered flag with Wassom finishing fourth. Other winners on the night included Jacob Olmstead of Overton who claimed victory in the Sport Mod feature. Mike Nichols of Harlan, IA continued his dominance at the Dawson County Raceway by winning the stock car feature and points leader Anthony Roth lead wire to wire to win the Modified feature. The NeSmith late models were back on the track Sunday night as Denton Duncan picked up his first win of the season.
