Mullen Ranked #3 and South Loup Listed as a Contender in Nebraska Track & Field Coach’s Mid Season Rankings

The Nebraska Track & Field coach’s 2018 mid season rankings were released April 15. The rankings are presented by the Nebraska Track & Field Festival and Nebraska Elite Track Club with the help of numerous Nebraska high school coaches from around the state after reviewing results and attending meets around Nebraska. The rankings are based upon how teams in each class are projected to do at the Nebraska State Track Meet in May. The goal of the rankings is to recognize the hard work of teams and athletes in all classes across the state. The Mullen boys are ranked #3 in the Class D rankings behind #1 Axtell and #2 North Central. The following was said of the Broncos “With Lane Edis in the jumps and sprints coupled with Tell Spies in the throws and all-around guy Luke Christen hurdling and running middle distance this is a group moving up our rankings considerably.” South Loup is listed as a contender in the Class C boys rankings.
