The Mullen Broncos were able to pull away from Anselmo-Merna Friday night to improve to 2-0 on the season. The Coyotes pulled to within 30-20 with 2:31 remaining in the 3rd quarter on a 20 yard touchdown run by Seth Miller but Mullen responded by scoring 22 unanswered points to make the final score 52-20. The Broncos were led by their all state running back Lane Edis who rushed for 276 yards and 4 touchdowns and also scored on a 57 yard punt return for a touchdown. AM was led by Seth Miller who finished with 175 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
