Mullen Claims Team Title at the Sutherland Invite

Several wrestlers from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area found success at the Sutherland Invite on Saturday.  Mullen won the team title with 131 points.  Sandhills/Thedford was fifth in the team standings and Anselmo-Merna placed 6th.  The Broncos had four wrestlers claim the title in their respective weight class.  Eli Paxton placed first 106 lbs.  Teven Marshall was champion at 120 lbs.  Kyle Durfee won the title at 126 lbs. and Clayton Hassett was champion at 220 lbs.  Sandhills/Thedford had two champions on the day.  Bryan Zutavern placed first at 182 lbs. and Brayton Branic was the winner at 285 lbs.  Logan Peterson of South Loup also claimed gold by winning the title at 113 lbs.
