The 2021 Mid Nebraska Activities Conference wrestling championships will take place today. The meet was moved from February 5th to today and will take place at the Lariat in Mullen. Scheduled to compete are athletes from Sandhills/Thedford, Hyannis, Mullen, Brady, Twin Loup, Sandhills Valley, South Loup and Anselmo-Merna. Three wrestlers from the conference are ranked in the top three of their weight class by NEwrestle.com in Class D. Eli Paxton of Mullen is ranked #2 at 113 lbs. Jeremy Larson of Brady is top ranked at 132 lbs. and Reece Zutavern of Sandhills/Thedford is top ranked at 182 lbs.
Matches from today’s meet will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Competition is scheduled to begin at 10:30 central time.
