2020 Broken Bow grad Martin Bailey will be joining the cross country team at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. Bailey visited with KCNI/KBBN sports and shared with us his plans to walk on for the “Trojans” cross country program this season. Bailey said that his roommate, who will also be a walk on, helped spark his interest in joining the team so he reached out to the coaching staff and the response was very positive.
Martin ran for the Broken Bow cross country team while in high school. He shared what he learned about himself and what he learned from coach Jason Daffer during his time competing in cross country in high school.
Bailey plans to major in audio engineering.
