Local Sports Calendar 9/16 – Broken Bow Volleyball vs Lexington on KCNI

The Broken Bow volleyball team continues its season tonight as they host Lexington at the Indian gym. The two met earlier this season at the Lexington Invite. Broken Bow won the match in straight sets 25-20, 25-19. Broken Bow is off to a 7-0 start this season and is ranked this week at #5 by the Omaha World Herald in its Class C1 top ten poll. Lexington enters tonight’s match with a 7-5 overall record. Tonight’s match will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and on kcni1280.com.

Mullen at Arthur County triangular with Arthur County and Garden County

The Broken Bow girls golf team will be back on the course for the second time this week as they travel to the North Platte Invite at Lake Maloney golf course.

Several area teams are scheduled to compete at today’s Ravenna cross country invitational. Area teams include: Ansley/Litchfield, South Loup, Arcadia/Loup City, Sandhills/Thedford, and Cozad
