Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be in Burwell today for coverage of the annual Burwell track and field invitational. The meet was originally scheduled for Friday (4/16) but was moved to today because of forecasted weather conditions. Several area teams are scheduled to compete. Among the teams from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area scheduled to compete today include : Burwell, Anselmo-Merna, Ansley/Litchfield, South Loup, Twin Loup, Arcadia/Loup City, and Sandhills/Thedford. Live updates of results can be heard during the day on KBBN 95.3 FM. Reports can be heard following news and weather at the top of the hour at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. as well as during the noon sports. KBBN will broadcast the Nebraska volleyball NCAA tournament match at 2:30. At the conclusion of the match, reports will continue and conclude from Burwell.
