The KBBN high school football game of the week will feature the Sandhills/Thedford Knights. The Knights are off to a 2-0 start following wins against Ainsworth and Anselmo-Merna. A powerful running attack has helped S/T score 50 or more points in their first two games. Tonight they go on the road to meet a Paxton team that is off to an 0-2 start. It will be a re-match of sorts as Paxton defeated Sandhills/Thedford in round one of last year’s state football playoffs. Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 (CT) with coverage from the field beginning around 7:15. High school football coverage will begin with the Consolidated Friday Night Lights pregame show following the 6pm news and weather.
